Varalakshmi Vradam, Vedic Temple

Montclair, CA, 2008

The auspicious Varalakshmi Vradam was performed at the Vedic Temple on Friday, August 15. Each participant invoked the energy of Lakshmi in the Kalasha (energized water pot). At the end of the puja, the participants wore an energized thread with nine knots. The nine knots represent the nine layers of the Sri Chakra. By performing this puja the participant is transported to the consciousness of Maha Lakshmi and radiates joy, compassion, and eternal bliss.
